Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy that has to do…
The days are getting shorter and the temperatures are about to begin to lower. If you’re anything like us, one of the saddest things about leaving summer behind for the year is saying goodbye to your summer glow. There’s something about the summer glow that gives us life. But really, what’s not to love about glowing skin? The good news is that you CAN bring your summer glow into fall. You don’t have to say goodbye! We promise, and to prove it to you we’re sharing some tips to help you extend that glow along with your fall experience.
Exfoliate Your Skin Well!
We’re just going to put this out there….you’ve got to stop skipping the exfoliating step in your skin care routine! Honestly, exfoliating works wonders in almost every area of your skin’s health and appearance. If you want to really bring that summer glow into fall you need to get into the habit of exfoliating your entire body. Exfoliating your skin allows your skin to be removed of dead skin cells, which will also cause your skin to become much less likely to peel-peeling away that glow. Plus, exfoliating helps to get rid of all the ‘stuff’ on the surface of your skin, which will automatically leave your skin looking much more glowing.
Up Your Moisturizing Routine
Moisturizing your skin is another step we all need to get into the habit of being much more serious about-especially if you’re serious about bringing your summer blow into the fall. Your skin needs moisture. If you’ve ever noticed the way your skin looks when it’s dry, it’s the exact opposite of glowing. See where we’re going here? The key is to apply moisturizer to ALL of your skin around your body. Not only does moisturizer help to give your skin an actual dose of moisture which aids in achieving glowing skin, it also helps to preserve your summer glow because your skin is well moisturized. Ever notice when your skin is dry how your glow just seems to flake off? That’s actually because it IS flaking off. Preserve your glow by applying moisturizer consistently and by using quality moisturizing products.
Use a Self-tanning Product
Obviously as we really make our way into the fall season, we’re going to be outdoors a lot less which leads to the loss of our summer glow. As you begin to notice some of the color fading naturally, keep in mind that applying the first two steps will push back the fading process, adding a self-tanning product into your daily routine helps to even out the color. Before you think it’s cheating, adding a self-tanning product to your skin care routine is the exact opposite! There are so many high quality self-tanning products available that help to even out your skin tone, your glow and gives you a little color when you begin to notice that it fades.
